International Airline Business Growth in July

Air Transport Association reported, the international airline business growth has strengthened, but growth of domestic flights declined in July. Airlines have benefited quite a lot of growth in international airline business.

For July, domestic yield rose 13.1% from a year ago to 14.95 cents. In June, domestic was 15.27 cents, up 17.7% from a year ago. Trans-Atlantic yield rose 27.5% in July to 13.97 cents. In June, Atlantic yield was 13.63 cents, up 27.4% from a year ago. Trans-Pacific yield rose 40.1% from a year ago to 13.42 cents, up from 12.97 cents in June, which was 35.1% above prior-year levels.
