Gulf Air Sees Online Ticket Sales Up 160%

Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has seen the average number of ticket sales on its website increase by 160 percent from January to July this year.

More passengers are choosing to book their airline tickets online because of the convenience and ease of booking, the firm said.

The airline said they had 140 percent more bookings in July than what they had in January – a trend they say will continue.

“The growing popularity and success of gulfair.com shows that our strategy to attract more customers to book online is paying off,’ says Gulf Air Director distribution and e-commerce Lars Denlew.
