With the holiday season just around the corner, consumers may be getting a break on airline ticket costs.
farecompare.com said that holiday airline tickets will be priced lower this season than last year.
Consumers have been hit with many airline surcharges recently, but oil prices are down 15 percent as compared to last year leading to ticket price reductions.
Airline officials still advise travelers to shop early and then book tickets for holiday travel by the end of October to get the best prices.
